Why Tractor Pulling Simulator?

There are countless realistic motorsports games around on many different platforms. Sadly, a realistic tractor pulling game is not one of them. Until now, at least! Tractor Pulling Simulator is still a personal/study project, but we intend to release it once it reaches a playable state. If you want to know how we got to the idea of making the Tractor Pulling Simulator game, please check out the About Us page and read our story to find out the thoughts behind the game.

How Does Tractor Pulling Work?

Unlike the majority of motorsports, tractor pulling is NOT about speed. At tractor pulling, you have a 100 meter (330 feet) long dirt track usually consisting of clay or sand and is 10 meters (33 feet) wide. The goal is to pull a heavy sled as far as possible down the track. This might sound easy, but it is not! As soon as the sled starts moving, a weight transfer box moves towards its front and pushes it harder to the ground until the tractor cannot pull any further.

Tractor Pulling is often called “World’s Most Powerful Motorsport” with multi-engine tractors that push beyond the 10.000 horsepower mark!

Development Process

We are currently working on the game basics to ensure we get the core concept down correctly. In the meantime, Mitch started with 3D modeling the first tractors, and Karolina is designing the different levels. The game itself is being developed in Unreal Engine. We feel this game engine has everything we’re looking for in this game. Besides the developing process, we’re also reaching out to pulling teams, organizations, and brands to get as much information as possible which we can later implement into the game. If your pulling team/organization/brand is interested in contributing to the game, please check the Contribute page.

Release Info

Since the game development just started, there is no ETA yet as the release date. However, once the game is in a playable state, we might release it under Early Access or a closed beta to get players’ feedback and iron out any issues they may find during this phase.
